In 2017/18, while working at Tourvest, I was tasked with designing and developing the official website for the 3rd Annual South African Biomedical Engineering Conference, held in Stellenbosch. The objective was to create a clean, simple, and user-friendly platform that would effectively guide attendees, sponsors, and speakers through the entire conference journey. The website featured clear navigation, detailed information for speakers and sponsors, and a streamlined registration process to make sign-ups effortless. By focusing on simplicity and intuitive functionality, the site successfully served as the central hub for the event, helping to improve attendee engagement and ensuring all key stakeholders could easily access the information they needed.
